Understanding by Design (UbD) ile Öğretim Tasarımı Eğitimi

This training program aims to help educators approach teaching not merely as delivering curriculum content, but as designing meaningful and lasting learning experiences. Throughout the program, participants will be introduced to the Understanding by Design (UbD) instructional design model, a widely used framework that focuses on planning instruction based on what students should truly understand and be able to transfer to new contexts.

During the training, participants will explore how to identify learning outcomes, design assessment tools aligned with these outcomes, and develop learning activities that support deep and lasting understanding. The program also examines the relationship between the UbD approach and the competency- and value-based goals of the Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli, supporting educators in redesigning their own lesson plans accordingly.

Through workshops and practical sessions, participants will learn how to apply the three stages of the UbD framework to create a coherent instructional design that integrates learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and learning plans.

The program will be conducted in person at the Süleymaniye Campus of İbn Haldun Üniversitesi. Participants who meet the attendance requirement will receive a Certificate of Participation.
