Ömer Faruk Erol graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2010. He completed his LL.M. at Marmara University in 2012 with a thesis titled “Environmental Impact Assessment under Environmental Law,” and earned his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2017 with his dissertation “Administrative Activities in Civil Aviation.”
During his graduate studies, he was a visiting researcher at Harvard University for his master’s research through a Council of Higher Education (YÖK) scholarship, and a visiting researcher at McGill University for his doctoral research with support from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK).
Following his graduation, he worked as a research assistant at Yalova University, Istanbul Medeniyet University, and Marmara University. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at Ibn Haldun University.
